Join us for House of Everything and More, a series of free performances, participatory events, and workshops in downtown El Paso, curated by Nicole Lavelle and Bennett Williamson in collaboration with local artists and community members. This event will be part of Chalk the Block, which will take place from October 10-12 in downtown El Paso.
The events in House of Everything and More will vary widely in scope and scale, from intimate to expansive, and provide a range of experiences that invite collaboration and participation from the downtown public. House of Everything and More asks artists and publics to be open, daring and in cahoots. What happens when anything goes and everyone is invited?
The storefront space at 210 N. Stanton will be a place to share your stories as you relax and get pampered with custom nail art from the technicians behind the screen in our Cozy Confessional. You can win cool prizes and make avant-garde improvised music fun again at a game of lotería based on a composition by John Zorn. Learn about the many roles salsa plays in contemporary life, and take the Trigger Finger Lemonade Challenge to join El Paso’s oldest secret society.
